Orpington Chinese School was founded in 2014 with the mission of providing student-centered Chinese language education, delivered with professionalism and passion for promoting Chinese culture.
Our mission is to help more children of Chinese heritage in the UK as well as local Brithish who likes Chinese language and culture to better understand and develop a love for Chinese culture.

Since its establishment in 2014, the school has expanded to six campuses, located in Kingston, Wimbledon, Chelsea, Richmond, and Epsom, serving over 2,000 students. Orpington Chinese School has become a benchmark in Chinese education in the UK, successfully building the "Orpington Chinese Education" brand and achieving broad coverage across London and surrounding areas.
The school offers Chinese language education from beginner to GCSE level for both native and non-native speakers aged 4 to 16. In addition, we continuously provide qualified Chinese teachers to mainstream public schools in the UK, ensuring wider access to Chinese education.
Our students have consistently achieved outstanding results in competitions organized by the UK Association for the Promotion of Chinese Education, excelling in recitation, public speaking, singing, calligraphy, and writing—demonstrating the school’s expertise in Chinese education.
Music students have won multiple awards in local competitions.
Vocal students ranked among the top 10 in the "Water Cube Cup" Global Chinese Song Contest.
The school has performed at the UK Spring Festival Gala for five consecutive years, with our students given the honor of presenting the opening dance performance.
